As you draw near to the end of the working hours in your office, your mind begins to fill with different thoughts about the day which went past.
Did you do enough to make the day worthwhile? Or were there moments when you could have done more? Do you regret the time spent in needless browsing of the net?
So on and so forth......
It is this little brick which is going to be a part of what you are ultimately going to build in your lifetime. Was it placed right? God help me!
It makes you think of the bigger picture. Without your knowing, your life story continues to get written.
It makes you want to spend the next day better.
To place that brick correctly. As the first one of a new wing of this building, which will perhaps be the most beautiful thing you ever built.
I do not like the hollowness that gnaws at you at the end on an unproductive day. And truth be told, there have been many.....
For it has been the worst thing that I have heard being said poetically....
"Subah hoti hai, phir sham hoti hai,
Zindagi yoon hi tamam hoti hai......"
So lets banish this thought and lets resolve that we will ring in tomorrow with a gutsy cheer....
"Carpe Diem !!"
